Cold weather has moved through Montana and we were met this morning with temperatures around -11 degrees. With a fresh blanket of snow covering the town, it’s hard to imagine, but we’ll be back out on the rivers in only about six weeks. For now we’ll enjoy the heat from the wood stoves and watch the ice drift down the Clark Fork, because before we know it we’ll be soaking in the August heat and keenly watching a hopper drift along the bank.
We have limited availability remaining for our discounted spring season in March and April. Our most flexibility remains in March and early April. If interested in a trip, please reach out and we are happy to provide additional information.
Our spring special is a four night hotel stay package with three full days of guided fishing. Staybridge Suites provides complimentary airport shuttles and breakfast. The guide will pick you up at the hotel and provide a shore side lunch. All flies and tippet along with the use of rods and reels are provided as part of the package. The Staybridge Suites is a short walk away from a few restaurants if you would prefer to not rent a car.
Our four night / three day spring special is $1075 per angler based on double occupancy.
If you would prefer to book your own lodging, our discounted spring day trip rate is $525 per guide day.
We are now booking all-inclusive trips for the 2023 season. We have a few dates still available in June, with more flexibility in August and through Mid-September.
Our Premiere All Inclusive Lodge package is designed for our clients to “just show up and enjoy Montana.” Lodge staff will provide shuttles to and from Missoula International Airport (MSO) and check you into Missoula River Lodge. Our Lodge property is a hundred acres riverfront on the Clark Fork river with over a mile of private fishing access. We follow a true farm to table dining program, so our Executive Chef – Carrie Nowlen – shops daily to provide fresh and local fare for our guests. Carrie was recognized by the Food Editor of the Washington Post as one of the top 100 Chefs in the United States in 2017 and has recipes featured in “America the Great Cookbook.” Guides will pick you up at the Lodge daily for fishing on either the Bitterroot, Blackfoot, Rock Creek (for June trips), and Clark Fork Rivers.
