This is an extremely well shot and thought out video about the history and hopeful future of the Blackfoot River.

It’s calling for legislation to protect the tributaries of the Blackfoot River.

As with any legislation that curtails the future ability of others to develop natural resources for money it will be met with stiff opposition.  There will be arguments made about the financial handcuffs these types of bills force on the economy of Montana. The river hippies like me will argue back that these connected ecosystems of our wild rivers are an irreplaceable public resource.

There is a lot more to fishing in Montana than whether or not a trout eats your fly and you catch him.
