I am a fly fishing guide in Missoula Montana and only an occasional traveling salesman. Life on the road still beats me up.  I can handle all the hot summer days pulling hard on the oars, but airplanes and icey interstate road trips leave me worn.  The above picture was from the trip to the Seattle Fly Fishing show that included two hour stop on the I-90 as the the flaming semi crossing all lanes was extinguished and shoved to the side of the road to allow the 10 miles of backed up traffic to get through.  I am sure road warrior pros shrug it off and answer emails while they stall on their path to the next sales call.  I would guess that is much like the fishing guide who smiles and finds a way to make the most of a heavy west wind day on the Lower Clark Fork. Reps at your profession even out the speed bumps.

I am back on the road this week headed to the Pleasanton California Fly Fishing Show. Please swing by and say hello if you are in the area.  If you see any flaming Semi trucks please send me a text and I will avoid that route. I am not quite a veteran of the road yet.

I do like warm weather and enjoy talking fishing with anglers. California should be a nice stop on the road.
