As of February 12, 2021, there is no statewide mask mandate in Montana.
Masks, social distancing and good sanitation practices are still recommended throughout the state.
Gatherings: “Any public gatherings or events should be managed in a way that accommodates CDC social distancing guidelines.” This removes all previous capacity limits.
Businesses: Businesses no longer have restrictions on their capacities or hours. Per the new guidelines, they “… should make reasonable efforts to develop and implement appropriate policies based on industry best practices during this emergency.” If there are no industry best practices, Gianforte’s directive points owners and managers towards “federal, state, and local regulations and guidance.”
In regards to our dining program at the lodge, our staff is looking forward to creating an experience that puts health and safety at the forefront for the duration of your stay. To support CDC and Missoula County Health Department guidelines the dining room has made several changes that affect our service programs.
Meal courses are being combined to shorten the total time spent in the community dining space, buffet appetizers and beverages have been replaced with individual service items and recommended sanitation products have been incorporated. Those guests staying when we have multiple groups onsite simultaneously will be spaced in the dining room with social distancing in mind. We ask that you please respect the safety of yourself and others by returning to your individual accommodations when dinner has concluded.
We have adopted a flexible cancellation policy for trips impacted by COVID-19. Should you need to cancel your trip for any COVID-19 related reason (illness, border closure, mandatory quarantine) we will offer a refund or the option to roll your deposit over to a future trip.
Please don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions or would like additional information.
